Our Teacher
Xiaojing Sun is the director and the lead teacher of the Suns Art Studio in Mountain View, CA. She holds a B.A in Fine Arts, plus advanced studies in oil painting at the China Academy of Art. She serves as the Vice President of the Oil Painting Institute at the Chinese Academy of Arts, Deputy Director of the Eastern Zhang Daqian Art Research Center, member of the Sichuan Artists Association, member of the Sichuan Oil Painting Society, and member of the California Fine Arts Club.
For nearly 30 years, Xiaojing has been engaged in youth art education, level training, and evaluation work in various schools and art institutions. She has been repeatedly recognized as an outstanding art teacher by various educational institutions in China.
In her classes, Xiaojing respects students' perception and expression of art. Through unrestricted and unconstrained artistic forms of expression, she not only helps students improve their artistic skills but also cultivates their creativity, imagination, and self-confidence. Her patience, approachability, and teaching philosophy are highly appreciated by students and trusted by parents.
